Job Requirements
- Must be current on all vaccinations including COVID-19 and receive CDC recommended booster doses
- Ability to perform physical cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and lifting
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Willingness to follow all Victory Housing policies and procedures
- Ability to interact respectfully and professionally with residents and staff
- Availability to work flexible hours including mornings and afternoons as cleaning needs require
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
- Ability to follow detailed cleaning policies and procedures
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties
- Ensure that Victory Housing mission takes precedence over all decisions and actions
- Keep community clean and sanitized while adhering to all policies and procedures
- Sweep outdoor patios and clean tables weekly
- Clean front entry door each morning and afternoon daily
- Clean common areas daily per policies and procedures with public restrooms cleaned every two hours or as needed
- Vacuum and wet mop dining room after each meal and assist in wiping down dining room chairs and tables
- Maintain inventory and assist in ordering cleaning supplies and approved chemicals
- Assure rooms are cleaned, set-up and ready within 24 hours of vacancy
- Check-in with Assistant Director daily to determine immediate cleaning needs
- Take out trash in resident units daily and common areas twice daily
- Pick up outside trash when needed
- Clean lights per guidelines
- Clean ash trays four times daily or more as needed
- Water and prune interior plants
- Provide daily maid service in all suites including making beds and emptying trash
- Thoroughly clean suites weekly including bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and changing linens
- Address resident concerns or needs related to housekeeping or laundry
- Attend and assist with special community events
