Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- ability to work part-time from 9 AM to 5 PM
- knowledge of safe housekeeping practices
- ability to follow safety regulations and procedures
- good communication skills
- ability to report unsafe conditions and cooperate with supervisors
- team player mindset
Job Qualifications
- Thorough understanding of the principles of safe effective housekeeping practices within the state of employment
- ability to be a team player and partner with other departments
- high school diploma or GED preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Maintain cleaning schedules for assigned area
- coordinate routine and terminal isolation procedures with Nursing Services
- maintain knowledge of safety regulations, policies and procedures and follow established safety procedures and precautions
- report all unsafe or hazardous conditions, defective equipment, etc. to supervisor immediately
- honor residents' personal and property rights
- file complaints or grievances with supervisor in a timely fashion
