Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous housekeeping experience in healthcare or similar environment preferred
- ability to work part-time with flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- capacity to stand, walk, bend, and lift as required for cleaning duties
- ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
- willingness to perform repetitive tasks
- commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
Job Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
- ability to perform physical cleaning tasks efficiently
- excellent attention to detail
- good communication skills to interact with guests and team members
- ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
- capable of working varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- willingness to learn and adapt to training
Job Duties
- Provides quality customer service to customers by providing one-on-one attention to detail
- sweeps, scrubs, mops and polishes floors
- vacuums carpets, rugs and draperies
- shampoos carpets, rugs and upholstery
- dusts and polishes furniture and fittings
- cleans metal fixtures and fittings
- empties and cleans trash containers
- disposes of trash in a sanitary manner
- cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers
- wipes down glass surfaces
- makes up beds and changes linens as required
- realigns furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout
- responds to guest queries and requests
- responds to calls for housekeeping problems, such as spills and broken glasses
- contributes to team efforts
- exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow associates and others
- performs other duties as assigned
