- thorough understanding of the principles of safe effective housekeeping practices within the state of employment
- ability to be a team player to partner with other departments
- high school diploma or GED is preferred but not required

Job Duties
- maintain cleaning schedules for assigned area
- coordinating routine and terminal isolation procedures with nursing services
- maintain knowledge of safety regulations, policies and procedures and follow established safety procedures and precautions
- report all unsafe or hazardous conditions, defective equipment, etc. to supervisor immediately
- honor the residents’ personal and property rights
- file complaints or grievances with supervisor in a timely fashion
