Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting carrying pushing and pulling
- flexibility to work scheduled hours
- reliable attendance
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- must be able to move throughout the facility all day
- must be able to adhere to infection control policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- experience in housekeeping or related cleaning roles preferred
- knowledge of cleaning and infection control procedures
- ability to follow safety and sanitation standards
- flexible availability to work weekdays 7am to 3:30pm
- good physical stamina and capability to perform manual labor tasks
- strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Job Duties
- clean all areas including cottages apartments assisted living areas and nursing units to the highest standards with minimal supervision
- perform day-to-day cleaning in designated areas including dusting vacuuming disinfecting polishing emptying wastebaskets cleaning replenishing and mopping
- work throughout the facility performing cleaning and infection control tasks
- practice dependable regular attendance
- move intermittently throughout the workday involving stooping kneeling sitting crouching crawling twisting and reaching
- lift and carry objects averaging 10 pounds up to 25 pounds and push or pull up to 30 pounds
