Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of experience in long term care setting preferred but not required
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Meets all health requirements as required by law
- Ability to relate positively and effectively with residents, families, community members, volunteers and other staff
- Demonstrates basic computer knowledge and aptitude to learn company applications
- Must be a minimum of eighteen years of age
- Must be able to lift, push, pull and move equipment throughout the work day
- Availability to work Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 4:00PM to 9:00PM
- Willingness to work beyond normal hours or in other positions if necessary
- Must maintain emotional stability and physical health to cope with job stress
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office
- Ability to relate positively and effectively with residents, families, and staff
- Demonstrated emotional stability and physical capability to perform required duties
- Prior experience in long term care setting preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Follow all housekeeping procedures set forth by the housekeeping director
- Communicate with housekeeping personnel and other department personnel
- Attend and participate in continuing educational programs, in-services, on the job training programs
- Maintain the facility in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner
- Handle supplies, equipment, and housekeeping carts properly and safely
- Interact professionally with residents, family, and co-workers
- Ensure compliance with all established safety and sanitation guidelines
