Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of experience in long term care setting preferred but not required
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Meets all health requirements as required by law
  • Ability to relate positively and effectively with residents, families, community members, volunteers and other staff
  • Demonstrates basic computer knowledge and aptitude to learn company applications
  • Must be a minimum of eighteen years of age
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull and move equipment throughout the work day
  • Availability to work Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 4:00PM to 9:00PM
  • Willingness to work beyond normal hours or in other positions if necessary
  • Must maintain emotional stability and physical health to cope with job stress

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to relate positively and effectively with residents, families, and staff
  • Demonstrated emotional stability and physical capability to perform required duties
  • Prior experience in long term care setting preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Follow all housekeeping procedures set forth by the housekeeping director
  • Communicate with housekeeping personnel and other department personnel
  • Attend and participate in continuing educational programs, in-services, on the job training programs
  • Maintain the facility in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner
  • Handle supplies, equipment, and housekeeping carts properly and safely
  • Interact professionally with residents, family, and co-workers
  • Ensure compliance with all established safety and sanitation guidelines
