Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Experience in housekeeping or related field is an advantage
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members
- Knowledge of safety regulations and housekeeping procedures
- Ability to follow established cleaning schedules and safety protocols
- Must be dependable and detail-oriented
- Ability to respect residents' personal and property rights
Job Qualifications
- Thorough understanding of the principles of safe effective housekeeping practices within the State of employment
- Ability to be a team player to partner with other departments
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred, but not required
Job Duties
- Maintain cleaning schedules for assigned area
- Coordinating routine and terminal isolation procedures with Nursing Services
- Maintain knowledge of safety regulations, policies and procedures and following the established safety procedures and precautions
- Reporting all unsafe or hazardous conditions, defective equipment, etc. to supervisor immediately
- Honoring the residents' personal and property rights
- Filing complaints or grievances with supervisor in a timely fashion
