Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures
- Good physical stamina and ability to handle cleaning tasks
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Willingness to comply with all safety and security policies
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic understanding of safety and security procedures
Job Duties
- Demonstrates and promotes a 100% commitment to providing the best possible experience for guests and associates
- Cleans assigned guest rooms in accordance with company standards, policies and procedures
- Ensures housekeeping carts, cart rooms and laundry areas are maintained to company standards while in use
- Stocks carts and cart rooms as necessary or directed by management
- Reports maintenance issues directly to the front desk or manager on duty
- Reports any remaining guest property found in check-out rooms to the front desk and manager on duty
- Assists and provides reasonable accommodations in response to guest requests whenever possible
- Complies with all safety and security policies and procedures
- Completes all required and annual Extended Stay University training
- Assists with cleaning other hotel areas as assigned including associate breakroom, guest laundry, fitness room, vending areas, stairwells and common areas
- Maintains overall hotel cleanliness
- Performs other duties as assigned by management
