Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in housekeeping or similar cleaning roles preferred
- ability to read and understand instructions
- physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting and standing for extended periods
- adherence to company safety and security policies
- ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- willingness to complete mandatory training
- commitment to providing excellent guest service
Job Qualifications

- previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- good communication skills
- ability to follow instructions and safety procedures

- flexibility to handle various cleaning assignments
Job Duties
- Demonstrates and promotes a 100% commitment to providing the best possible experience for guests and associates
- cleans assigned guest rooms in accordance with company standards, policies, and procedures
- maintains housekeeping carts, cart rooms, and laundry areas to company standards
- stocks carts and cart rooms as necessary or directed by management
- reports maintenance issues and found guest property to the front desk and manager on duty
- responds to guest requests with reasonable accommodation whenever possible
- complies with all safety and security policies and procedures
- completes all required and annual Extended Stay University training
- assists with cleaning other hotel areas including associate breakroom, guest laundry, fitness room, vending areas, stairwells, and common areas
- maintains overall hotel cleanliness
- performs other duties as assigned by management
