Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to perform physical cleaning duties
- availability to work flexible hours including weekends
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- ability to follow company safety and security procedures
- willingness to undergo background checks and drug screening
- reliability and professionalism
- basic literacy and numeracy skills
Job Qualifications

- previous housekeeping or cleaning experience beneficial but not required
- strong attention to detail
- good communication and interpersonal skills

- willingness to complete ongoing training

Job Duties
- Demonstrates and promotes a 100% commitment to providing the best possible experience for guests and associates
- cleans assigned guest rooms adhering to company standards, policies and procedures
- ensures housekeeping carts, cart rooms and laundry areas are maintained to company standards
- stocks carts and cart rooms when necessary or directed by management
- reports all maintenance issues directly to the front desk and/or manager on duty
- reports any remaining guest property in a check-out room to the front desk and manager on duty
- assists and provides reasonable accommodation to guest requests when possible and practical
- complies with all safety and security policies and procedures
- completes all required and annual Extended Stay University training
- assists with cleaning other hotel areas including associate breakroom, guest laundry, fitness room, vending areas, stairwells and common areas
- maintains overall hotel cleanliness
- performs other duties as assigned by management
