Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in housekeeping or custodial role preferred
- ability to adhere to company policies and procedures
- must be able to lift and carry cleaning equipment and supplies
- ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- reliable and punctual
- ability to complete required training
- willingness to comply with safety and security standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- ability to follow instructions and company guidelines
- good communication skills
- physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods

- ability to work independently or as part of a team

Job Duties
- Demonstrates and promotes a 100% commitment to providing the best possible experience for guests and associates
- cleans assigned guest rooms adhering to company standards, policies and procedures
- ensures housekeeping carts, cart rooms, and laundry areas are maintained to company standards while in use
- stocks carts and cart rooms as directed by management
- reports all maintenance issues directly to the front desk and/or manager on duty
- reports any remaining guest property in a check-out room directly to the front desk and manager on duty
- assists and provides reasonable accommodation in response to guest requests whenever possible and practical
- complies with all safety and security policies and procedures
- completes all required and annual Extended Stay University training
- assists with cleaning other areas of the hotel as assigned by the manager including associate breakroom, guest laundry, fitness room, vending areas, stairwells and common areas
- responsible for maintaining overall hotel cleanliness
- other duties as assigned by the management team
