Job Requirements
- A high school education or equivalent
- Relevant experience or training in housekeeping or cleaning
- Ability to follow sanitation and hygiene protocols
- Capacity to perform physical cleaning duties
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work weekday 8a-4p shift
- Willingness to work in residential and healthcare environments
Job Qualifications
- A high school education or equivalent
- Up to one-month related experience or training
- Experience working with older adults in a healthcare setting is desirable, preferably a minimum of 6 months
Job Duties
- Comply with all applicable rules, policies, standards and guidelines related to employment with Westminster and its communities
- Clean residential units, resident's rooms and common areas including stairwells of assigned work areas
- Sanitize Health Center rooms after a move-out or prior to a move-in
- Send or bring protectors to the laundry area after being used by residents during each meal
- Maintain dining areas cleaned and sanitized at least twice daily
- Perform cleaning, dusting, sanitizing, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming daily of assigned work areas
- Remove garbage including biohazards removal by contracted vendor from the assigned areas
- Perform cleaning duties/functions as contracted by independent residents
