Job Requirements

  • previous housekeeping experience is preferred
  • strong communication skills

  • ability to follow safety and cleaning procedures

Job Duties

  • Report all maintenance problems and repairs needed
  • maintain clean and organized work areas
  • replenish courtesy items and cleaning supplies
  • be flexible to work in different locations and know all workstations
  • assist guests promptly, patiently, and with a friendly attitude
  • provide information to guests about hotel services and directions when necessary
  • inspect public areas for the condition of lights, chairs, tables, desks, counters, and restrooms
  • ensure common areas and lobby are always clean and tidy
  • clean assigned areas and support other departments as needed
  • know all emergency procedures and hotel policies
  • communicate all relevant information to the manager
  • maintain a safe environment by following hotel standards and legal regulations
  • report any unsafe conditions immediately
  • attend all mandatory meetings
  • fulfill other tasks assigned by the supervisor, including cross-training
