Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- one to three months related experience
- ability to work specified hours including every other weekend and holidays
- visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
- ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds
- ability to communicate effectively
- ability to perform essential job functions satisfactorily
- willingness to comply with safety principles, laws, regulations, and standards associated with CMS, The Joint Commission, DHHS, and OSHA

Job Duties
- Maintains a clean/neat environment in working area including patient rooms, terminals, offices, nurse's stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, and lobby areas
- participates in all cleaning activities as assigned including dusting, washing, drying, mopping, vacuuming, moving furniture, and emptying trash
- keeps assigned area fully stocked with supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, etc.
- responsible for maintaining stock on individual cleaning carts including wet and dry supplies
- maintain good customer relations at all times
- may sort, wash, and accurately deliver linens
