Job Requirements

  • Ability to work specified hours Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
  • Capacity to perform essential job functions including physical tasks
  • Ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds
  • Compliance with safety principles, laws, regulations, and standards including CMS, The Joint Commission, DHHS and OSHA

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • One to three months related experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others
  • Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Commitment to uphold hospital values and confidentiality

Job Duties

  • Maintain a clean and neat environment in patient rooms, terminals, offices, nurse's stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, and lobby areas
  • Participate in all cleaning activities including dusting, washing, drying, mopping, vacuuming, moving furniture, and emptying trash
  • Keep assigned area fully stocked with supplies such as paper towels and toilet paper
  • Maintain stock on individual cleaning carts including wet and dry supplies
  • Maintain good customer relations at all times
  • Sort, wash, and accurately deliver linens
  • Adhere to safety regulations and hospital standards
