Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • One to three months of related housekeeping experience
  • Ability to work the scheduled afternoon shift hours
  • Visual acuity to perform cleaning and stocking duties effectively
  • Effective verbal and auditory communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Capability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements such as CMS, The Joint Commission, DHHS, and OSHA

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • One to three months related experience
  • Ability to maintain visual acuity adequate for position duties
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work afternoons, including rotating weekends and holidays

  • Knowledge of safety principles, laws, and regulations applicable to healthcare cleaning standards

Job Duties

  • Maintains a clean and neat environment in assigned areas including patient rooms, terminals, offices, nurse's stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchens, elevators, and lobby areas
  • Participates in all cleaning activities such as dusting, washing, drying, mopping, vacuuming, moving furniture, and emptying trash
  • Keeps assigned area fully stocked with supplies including paper towels and toilet paper
  • Responsible for maintaining stock on individual cleaning carts including wet and dry supplies
  • Maintains good customer relations at all times
  • Sorts, washes, and accurately delivers linens
  • Assists with other duties as assigned
