Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- One to three months of related housekeeping experience
- Ability to work the scheduled afternoon shift hours
- Visual acuity to perform cleaning and stocking duties effectively
- Effective verbal and auditory communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Capability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements such as CMS, The Joint Commission, DHHS, and OSHA
Job Qualifications

- One to three months related experience
- Ability to maintain visual acuity adequate for position duties
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work afternoons, including rotating weekends and holidays

- Knowledge of safety principles, laws, and regulations applicable to healthcare cleaning standards
Job Duties
- Maintains a clean and neat environment in assigned areas including patient rooms, terminals, offices, nurse's stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchens, elevators, and lobby areas
- Participates in all cleaning activities such as dusting, washing, drying, mopping, vacuuming, moving furniture, and emptying trash
- Keeps assigned area fully stocked with supplies including paper towels and toilet paper
- Responsible for maintaining stock on individual cleaning carts including wet and dry supplies
- Maintains good customer relations at all times
- Sorts, washes, and accurately delivers linens
- Assists with other duties as assigned
