Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- One to three months related experience preferred
- Ability to work specified afternoon shift hours
- Visual acuity adequate to perform duties
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish sounds
- Ability to adhere to safety and confidentiality standards
- Must be able to work every other weekend and holidays

Job Duties
- Maintain a clean and neat environment in assigned areas including patient rooms, terminals, offices, nurse's stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, and lobby areas
- Participate in all cleaning activities such as dusting, washing, drying, mopping, vacuuming, moving furniture, and emptying trash
- Keep assigned areas stocked with supplies like paper towels and toilet paper
- Responsible for maintaining stock on individual cleaning carts including wet and dry supplies
- Maintain good customer relations at all times
- Sort, wash, and accurately deliver linens as needed
- Comply with safety principles, laws, and regulations related to healthcare cleaning standards
