Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year of experience in housekeeping preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting
- Ability to perform physical cleaning tasks
- Reliable and punctual
- Willingness to adhere to safety and infection control guidelines
- Ability to work full-time schedule
- Good interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- One year of experience as a housekeeper in a long-term care facility or hospital preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment
Job Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of the facility including patient rooms, common areas, and restrooms
- Dispose of trash and hazardous waste safely
- Clean and sanitize floors, walls, and surfaces
- Restock cleaning supplies and report inventory needs
- Follow safety protocols and infection control procedures
- Assist with setup and maintenance of new campus facilities
- Collaborate with environmental services team to ensure compliance with health standards
