One year of experience as a housekeeper in a long-term care facility or hospital preferred
Ability to follow directions and work independently
Good communication skills
Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean environment

Job Duties

Maintain the facility in a clean and safe condition for clients, staff, and visitors
Assist with the overall functions of the housekeeping department
Follow directions from the Director of Plant/Environmental Services or designee
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Perform cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste disposal
Monitor cleaning supplies and report needs
Support infection control procedures
