Job Requirements
- high school diploma or ged equivalent
- one to three months related experience
- ability to perform essential job functions including having visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
- ability to communicate effectively with others
- ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds
- ability to work the specified hours
- physical ability to perform cleaning tasks
- willingness to comply with safety laws, regulations, and standards

Job Duties
- maintains a clean/neat environment in working area including patient rooms, terminals, offices, nurse's stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, and lobby areas
- participates in all cleaning activities such as dusting, washing, drying, mopping, vacuuming, moving furniture, and emptying trash
- keeps assigned area fully stocked with supplies such as paper towels and toilet paper
- responsible for maintaining stock on individual cleaning carts including wet and dry supplies
- maintain good customer relations at all times
- may sort, wash, and accurately deliver linens
