Job Requirements
- Must be able to work specified hours including afternoon shifts and rotating weekends/holidays
- Experience in housekeeping is required
- Ability to perform essential job functions including cleaning tasks
- Visual acuity adequate for position duties
- Ability to communicate and understand speech effectively
- Compliance with safety, laws, and regulations including CMS, The Joint Commission, DHHS, and OSHA
- Maintain confidentiality and work well in a team environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- One to three months of related housekeeping experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with others
- Visual acuity adequate to perform cleaning duties
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

- Understanding of safety principles and compliance requirements
Job Duties
- Maintains a clean and neat environment in assigned areas including patient rooms, terminals, offices, nurse's stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, and lobby areas
- Participates in cleaning activities such as dusting, washing, drying, mopping, vacuuming, moving furniture, and emptying trash
- Keeps assigned area fully stocked with supplies like paper towels and toilet paper
- Responsible for maintaining stock on individual cleaning carts including wet and dry supplies
- Maintains good customer relations at all times
- Sorts, washes, and accurately delivers linens
- Performs other duties as assigned
