Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to perform physical cleaning tasks
- availability to work rotating shifts including holidays and every other weekend
- ability to adhere to hospital policies and procedures
- completion of mandatory trainings
- commitment to maintaining infection control standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
- knowledge of infection control practices
- ability to follow detailed cleaning schedules and procedures

- physical capability to perform heavy cleaning tasks
Job Duties
- Performs essential cleaning functions in assigned areas following established schedules utilizing trained methods
- adheres to the strict principals, policies and procedures on infection control for all high to low risk areas as outlined in EVS and IC Policy in I-10.1 of Infection Control manual
- performs heavy cleaning and sanitation functions in assigned areas following established schedules and Bi-Annual cleaning policy using prescribed methods
- attends mandatory hospital fire safety, infection control and hazardous waste training and department scheduled meetings, in-services, training sessions
- performs related duties as required
