Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to perform physical cleaning tasks
Willingness to work weekends and rotating holidays
Reliable and punctual
Ability to attend mandatory training sessions
Understanding of infection control principles
Ability to follow established cleaning schedules

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
Knowledge of cleaning and disinfection methods
Ability to follow strict infection control policies
Experience in a healthcare or similar environment is a plus
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

Performs essential cleaning functions in assigned areas following established schedules utilizing trained methods
Adheres to the strict principals, policies and procedures on infection control for all high to low risk areas as outlined in the EVS and IC Policy I-10.1 of Infection Control manual
Performs heavy cleaning and sanitation functions in assigned areas following established schedules and Bi-Annual cleaning policy using prescribed methods
Attends mandatory hospital fire safety, infection control and hazardous waste training and department scheduled meetings, in-services, training sessions
Performs related duties as required
