Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment and techniques
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Physical capability to perform tasks such as bending, lifting, and reaching for extended periods
- Ability to work independently and multitask

- Awareness of safety standards
- Must be eligible to work in the United States

- Preferred two years of housekeeping or janitorial experience
Job Duties
- Empty waste receptacles and replace waste liners
- Sweeps, mops, and buffs floors
- Vacuums and shampoos rugs
- Strips and refinishes floors as needed
- Cleans bathroom basins, fixtures, mirrors, stall doors, toilets, showers, vents, and stocks bathrooms with supplies
- Cleans patient beds, exam tables, IV poles, wheelchairs, carts, and surgical lighting using appropriate cleansers and sterilized equipment
- Collects and sends dirty linens and towels to laundry
- Disposes and transports solid waste
- Cleans vertical and horizontal surfaces including seating, table-tops, desks, sinks, doors, dispensers, water fountains, vents, bedside tables, light switches, floors, walls, and windows
- Cleans restrooms thoroughly including faucets, sinks, toilets, tubs, showers, partitions, and receptacles
- Serves as liaison between customers, patients, nurses, researchers, and students
- Participates in internal activities and training as required
- Performs other duties as assigned
