Job Requirements
- High school diploma/GED
- Ability to follow instructions, both oral and written
- Physical capability to perform tasks such as bending, lifting, and reaching for extended periods
- Ability to work independently and multitask
- Strong customer service attitude
- Adherence to safety and sanitation standards
- Legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
Job Qualifications

- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment operation
- Ability to follow instructions, both oral and written
- Proficiency in using cleaning supplies and maintaining equipment
- Strong customer service attitude and effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and establish priorities
- Physical capability to perform tasks such as bending, lifting, and reaching for extended periods
- Awareness of safety compliance and accountability for assigned tasks
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, detail-oriented work environment
- Two years of housekeeping/janitorial experience preferred
Job Duties
- Empty waste receptacles and replace waste liners
- Sweeps, mops, and buffs floors
- Vacuums and shampoos rugs
- Strips and refinishes floors as needed
- Cleans bathroom basins, fixtures, mirrors, stall doors, toilets, showers, vents, and stocks bathroom with soap, toilet tissue, and paper towels
- Clean areas requiring special cleaning methods by use of specific cleansers, sterilized equipment, and/or disposing of contaminated wastes
- Collects and sends dirty linens and towels to laundry
- Disposal and transport of solid waste
- Clean vertical and horizontal surfaces including seating, table-tops, desks, sinks, doors, dispensers, water fountains, vents, bedside tables, IV poles, light switches, floors, walls, windows
- Clean restrooms including faucets, sinks, toilets, tubs, showers, stall partitions, receptacles
- Serve as liaison between all customers, patients, nurses, researchers, and students
- Participate in internal activities and/or training as required or suggested by the institution/department
- May perform other duties as assigned
