Job Requirements
- No previous cleaning experience required
- requires knowledge, skill and mental ability equivalent to completion of two years of high school
- ability to work weekends including Saturdays and Sundays
- capability to walk and stand for the entire shift
- ability to push, vacuum, reach, stretch, and bend during daily tasks
- ability to lift 25 to 35 pounds intermittently
- must report to Executive Housekeeper or Assistant General Manager
- able to maintain positive and cooperative relationships with all hotel departments
Job Qualifications
- Completion of two years of high school education equivalent
- positive attitude and strong work ethic
- ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- knowledge of cleaning procedures and supplies is helpful but not required
- ability to work independently without direct supervision
- dedication to excellent customer service
- good communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Maintain a clean and positive environment for guests and team members
- ensure exceptional and positive experiences for diverse team members and guests
- perform various hotel cleaning services to keep guest rooms clean according to established standards
- visually inspect rooms to identify maintenance needs
- assist guests with linens, towels, amenities, or information upon request
- provide friendly and courteous service with a Service +1 attitude
- collaborate with the team to uphold cleanliness and hospitality standards
