Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in cleaning or housekeeping preferred
- Ability to follow safety and infection control protocols
- Ability to complete required training on LMS
- Availability to work flexible shifts
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties
- Effective communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and procedures
- Understanding of safe chemical handling and biohazard material disposal
- Experience in infection prevention and control practices
- Ability to perform housekeeping duties considering patient and staff needs
- Competency in completing training modules and adhering to department goals
- Strong communication skills to report equipment issues
- Commitment to workplace safety and hygiene standards
Job Duties
- Perform proper cleaning techniques and procedures when cleaning patient rooms, offices, and other designated areas within the Carle organization
- Demonstrate procedural knowledge of safe chemical handling and use, and disposal of biohazard materials
- Perform all housekeeping duties with the special needs of patients and staff in mind
- Demonstrate knowledge of infection prevention techniques and proper hand hygiene
- Clean equipment and notify leadership of equipment needing repair
- Complete required annual LMS training modules
- Follow written department goals and objectives and review them annually with department leadership
