Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Physical ability to push a vacuum cleaner for extended periods
- Ability to lift 25 to 30 pounds
- Physical capability to reach, stretch, bend, and stand for long periods
- Organizational skills to build independent cleaning schedule
- Ability to follow verbal and written directions in English
- Customer service experience
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work night shift (8:00 PM - 4:30 AM) Sunday through Thursday or flexible schedule
- US citizenship or permanent resident status to access facilities and networks
Job Qualifications

- Are able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine, with the ability to stand for long periods of time

- Ability to work night shift (8:00 PM - 4:30 AM) Sunday through Thursday and/or a flexible schedule
- Hold US citizenship or permanent resident status, as required to access APL’s facilities and networks, subject to applicable laws
Job Duties
- Perform general sweeping, scrubbing, mopping of hardwood, laminate, or tiled floors
- Dust and polish furniture and room accessories
- Dispose of trash and recycle content from bins and containers across the lab
- Sanitize sinks, basins, showers, and toilets in common area restrooms
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, mirrors, and counters
- Keep all public spaces neat and tidy
- Report repairs and replacements encountered during shift
- Maintain all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products with safe and sanitary storage
- Vacuum, clean carpets, and maintain carpet equipment
- Adhere to health and safety policies and lab's related practices
