Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing
  • Willingness to wear uniforms and use personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Demonstrate reliability and commitment to safety
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team

Job Qualifications

  • Past cleaning experience preferred
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, senior management, and Aramark support staff
  • Ability to respond effectively to changing demands

Job Duties

  • Maintain friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, and co-workers
  • Adapt to customer needs
  • Maintain all assigned ancillary and department areas and corridors in a clean, neat, and sanitary manner to protect safety and health
  • Inspect and use judgment to determine appropriate cleaning techniques
  • Demonstrate efficient and safe use of housekeeping equipment and solutions
  • Disinfect and sterilize equipment and supplies using germicides and sterilizing equipment
  • Employ universal precautions when disposing of trash and bio-hazardous materials
  • Keep cleaning cart properly stocked with equipment and supplies
  • Promote effective interpersonal and interdisciplinary relationships and maintain professional conduct
  • Assist in improving productivity and efficient operations of the department
  • Commit to professional growth and competence by adhering to training commitments
