Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Previous housekeeping experience
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Ability to speak English clearly
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Ability to push, pull, and lift 50 lbs regularly and occasionally push up to 150 lbs
- Ability to move equipment and supplies throughout the workday
- Willingness to learn and incorporate new housekeeping methods
- Fully vaccinated for COVID-19

Job Duties
- Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions such as cleaning, polishing, sanitizing, sweeping, vacuuming all environmental surfaces in resident rooms and common areas
- Coordinate housekeeping services with nursing staff during routine and emergency situations including routine and terminal isolation procedures
- Perform terminal cleaning procedures when a resident is discharged or transferred
- Report all accidents, incidents, hazardous conditions or equipment to the supervisor
- Keep work areas free of hazardous objects and ensure equipment, tools, and supplies are properly stored
- Exhibit behavior in accordance with Episcopal Retirement Services core values
- Maintain confidentiality of all staff information in compliance with HIPAA guidelines
