Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in professional cleaning or housekeeping preferred
- Ability to follow detailed procedures and standards
- Physical ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks including bending and kneeling
- Reliable transportation with a valid driver's license and insurance
- Willingness to undergo paid training
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses
- Need a driver's license and insurance to drive from various job sites
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and carry 20 lbs of equipment
- Ability to withstand regular physical contact with dog and cat hair, mold, dust, mildew and cleaning solutions
Job Duties
- Use Merry Maids cleaning products and procedures to clean in customer homes
- Use provided equipment including vacuums and microfiber cleaning cloths
- Clean all surfaces in home, including fans, blinds, light fixtures, baseboards, fixtures, counters, showers, toilets, cabinets, and floors
- Ability to clean floors on hands and knees in kitchens and bathrooms
- Provide exceptional customer service by consistently cleaning homes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of cleaning equipment
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members
