Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One or more years' housekeeping experience in a commercial, clinic or healthcare environment
- Previous lead experience preferred
- Valid state driver's license, where required in a facility
- CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required
- First aid certification may be required based on state or facility requirements

Job Duties
- Perform cleaning duties safely and in accordance with applicable federal and state regulations or law
- Follow organization policy and procedures in order to maintain a clean and sanitary environment
- Disinfect rooms, furniture, fixtures, equipment and supplies, using appropriate processes and germicides for cleaning equipment
- Other housekeeping duties, such as move and arrange furniture, turn mattresses, clean kitchens, cooking utensils, silverware, sweep, scrub, wax, or polish floors, as needed
- Launder soiled linens as directed
- Maintain adequate cleaning supplies for department/unit uses
- Properly clean and store all equipment and supplies after each shift
- Routinely practice infection control measures
- Prepare rooms for meetings and arrange decorations and furniture for facility
- May oversee the day-to-day operation of housekeeping for facility
- May be responsible for stocking of supplies
- Perform other functions and tasks as assigned
