Job Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • preferred three years of housekeeping lead experience
  • ability to supervise and train staff
  • availability for full-time schedule with varying hours and days
  • willingness to undergo training if inexperienced
  • strong attention to detail
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to handle guest complaints
  • ability to manage and document staff attendance and assignments

Job Duties

  • Provide quality service to customers by offering one-on-one attention to detail
  • ensure assigned staff have reported to work and clocked in properly, documenting any late or absent employees
  • resolve internal and external guest complaints to ensure guest satisfaction
  • document call offs and arrange replacements for any shifts
  • coordinate assigned staff breaks
  • prepare and distribute assignment sheets to staff and review priorities, communicating any changes during the shift
  • assign designated keys, radios, and beepers to assigned staff and maintain accurate records
  • check all equipment used by staff for proper supplies, cleanliness, and mechanical issues, instructing corrections as needed
  • inspect areas to confirm cleaning standards have been met
  • assist staff to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and service
  • conduct staff training as assigned
  • contribute positively to the team and exhibit professionalism
  • perform other duties as assigned
