Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to read, write, and speak English
- previous experience in institutional housekeeping or maintenance is preferred
- ability to operate floor-care equipment
- commitment to safety and infection control protocols
- capable of performing physically demanding tasks
- availability to work scheduled shifts including weekends

Job Duties
- Cleans and sanitizes patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas daily
- uses proper chemicals in proper portions
- performs dust mopping, wet mopping, or spot mopping of floors
- empties trash containers and replaces liners as appropriate
- vacuums carpets as directed by supervisor
- utilizes proper chemicals and equipment to wash and dry windows
- reports repair needs to supervisor or maintenance department
- requests needed supplies and equipment from supervisor
- identifies and corrects safety hazards and abides by safety rules
- attends weekly in-services and complies with patient care management systems
- assures patient and resident safety
- performs other duties and tasks as assigned
