Job Duties
- Perform general housekeeping duties in resident suites, public areas, and support areas while meeting or exceeding Sunrise quality standards
- Perform cleaning duties according to schedule in assigned areas including sweeping, dusting, mopping, sanitizing fixtures, and polishing surfaces
- Knock on resident and public restroom doors before entering and respect privacy
- Maintain equipment and supplies in a clean and orderly condition
- Transport supplies including clean and soiled linens to appropriate areas
- Collect trash and maintain trash receptacles in a clean, sanitary manner
- Collect, clean, redistribute, sort, wash, dry, fold, and inspect linens following approved laundry procedures
- Maintain commercial laundry cleanliness and order
- Assist care managers with resident care when requested
- Respond to resident requests and document pertinent information
- Ensure safe storage and handling of cleaning chemicals
- Maintain compliance with fire codes and safety regulations
- Use personal protective equipment and follow infection control procedures
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions
- Maintain compliance with all required training and certifications
- Perform other duties as assigned
