Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- six months experience in housekeeping or hospitality
- current First Aid or other safety certifications as required by the Club
- ability to communicate effectively with team members about job tasks and responsibilities
- desire to contribute to a productive work environment with a positive attitude
- demonstrate initiative and ability to think, work, solve practical problems, and make decisions based on sound judgment
- good time management, organizational, and follow-up skills
- ability to consistently achieve high work standards with attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness
- ability to pay attention to multiple details and work in a fast-paced environment
- flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- valid driver's license may be required

Job Duties
- Inspect and clean all Club buildings on a daily schedule according to BlueStar standards and procedures
- clean all facilities including floors, carpets, walls, ledges, pictures, mirrors, furniture, fixtures, and equipment
- empty garbage containers
- assist Maintenance Department in completing duties as assigned
- maintain an infection-free facility by thorough washing, cleaning, and replacing equipment and furnishings
- report repairs or need for replacements to the facility maintenance manager and follow up to assure repairs meet standards
- work in a safe manner using all assigned personal protective equipment and report unsafe conditions or accidents
- comply with all rules and regulations including OSHA, EPA, and state Health Department for cleaning products and chemicals
- assist with setup and teardown for Club events
- perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
