Job Requirements
- Must be able to read, write and follow written and oral directions in English at the 12th grade level
- Two or more years of relevant experience in environmental services or custodial work preferred
- Knowledge of hospital, departmental and infection control procedures
- Ability to cover cleaning schedules and project work
- Ability to supervise and train housekeeping staff when needed
- Ability to pass department project work written test and demonstrate proficiency
- Knowledge of UV Technology
- Ability to perform major floor and carpet care projects including stripping and refinishing
Job Qualifications
- Thorough working knowledge of hospital, departmental and infection control procedures

- Ability to supervise and train housekeeping staff when needed

Job Duties
- Responsible for maintaining overall cleanliness of environment of assigned areas
- Maintenance and sanitation of equipment
- Responsible for function setups and moving requests
- Responsible for major floor care and carpet care projects
- Responsible for ability to fill in for Housekeeping Supervisory staff
- Responsible for support training of staff
