Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to interact comfortably with patients, families, and visitors
- Ability to perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks using appropriate chemicals
- Willingness to work part-time rotating shifts with variable weekends
- Ability to follow safety protocols and participate in safety training
- Ability to complete assigned duties efficiently
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties
- Interact with patients, families, and visitors with a warm smile and friendly demeanor
- Clean patient rooms daily including sanitizing all surfaces, spot washing walls and windows, removing trash and linen, and cleaning restrooms
- Clean ancillary areas such as nurses' stations, medication rooms, pantries, utility rooms, storage rooms, waiting rooms, locker rooms, break rooms, and offices
- Clean specialty areas including OR Suites, Pre-Op and Post-Op areas, Emergency Department, Intensive and Critical Care Units, Labor Delivery Units, Pediatric Units, Mental Health Units, Oncology, Radiology, Labs, Physical and Occupational Therapy, Pharmacy, Geriatrics, and Kitchen areas
- Perform cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, dust mopping, damp mopping, low and high dusting, stocking supplies, removing trash and soiled linen, and delivering clean linen
- Use appropriate chemicals and follow guidelines when performing cleaning tasks
- Participate in safety initiatives and complete all safety-related competencies
- Perform other duties as assigned
