Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- part-time availability with rotating shifts including every other weekend
- ability to perform physical cleaning tasks
- willingness to use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely
- good interpersonal skills
- eligible to work in the United States

- ability to interact comfortably and professionally with patients, families, visitors, and hospital staff
- knowledge of cleaning and sanitizing procedures
- able to follow safety protocols and participate in safety programs
- ability to perform physical cleaning tasks including lifting and bending
- good communication skills
- dependable and punctual
Job Duties
- interact comfortably with patients, families, and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor
- clean patient rooms daily including sanitizing surfaces, spot washing walls and windows, removing trash and linen, and cleaning restrooms
- clean ancillary areas such as nurses' stations, med rooms, pantries, utility rooms, waiting rooms, locker rooms, break rooms, and offices
- clean specialty areas including OR Suites, Pre-Op and Post-Op areas, Emergency Department, Intensive and Critical Care Units, Labor Delivery Units, Pediatric Units, Mental Health Units, Oncology, Radiology, Labs, Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy, Pharmacy, Geriatrics, and kitchen areas
- perform basic cleaning tasks including vacuuming, dust mopping, damp mopping, low and high dusting, stocking supplies, removing trash and soiled linen, and delivering clean linen
- use appropriate chemicals and follow guidelines when performing tasks with proper training and tools
- participate actively in safety initiatives and complete all safety related competencies on time
- perform other duties as assigned
