Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to effectively use cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Willingness to work full-time 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and every other weekend
- Ability to comply with vaccination requirements
- Capacity to interact positively with patients and staff
- Physical stamina for cleaning duties
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Experience in hospital or healthcare cleaning preferred
- Ability to follow safety and chemical handling protocols
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
Job Duties
- Interact warmly and professionally with patients, families, and visitors
- Clean patient rooms daily including sanitizing all surfaces and restrooms
- Clean ancillary areas such as nurse stations, med rooms, pantries, and break rooms
- Maintain specialty hospital areas including OR Suites, Emergency Department, and Pediatric Units
- Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and adhere to safety guidelines
- Participate in safety initiatives and complete required safety trainings
- Perform other cleaning and miscellaneous duties as assigned
