Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Ability to interact effectively with patients, visitors, and hospital staff
- Ability to perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks using appropriate chemicals
- Ability to follow safety protocols and participate in safety initiatives
- Physical ability to complete cleaning duties including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Availability to work full-time evening shifts from 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., including every other weekend
- Commitment to maintaining hospital hygiene standards and patient care environment

Job Duties
- Interact comfortably with patients, families, and visitors with a warm smile and friendly demeanor
- Clean patient rooms daily including sanitizing surfaces, spot washing walls and windows, removing trash and linen, and cleaning restrooms
- Clean ancillary areas such as nurses' stations, medication rooms, pantries, utility rooms, storage rooms, waiting rooms, locker rooms, break rooms, and offices
- Clean specialty areas including operating rooms, emergency departments, intensive care units, pediatric units, mental health units, oncology, radiology, labs, therapy areas, pharmacy, geriatrics, and kitchen areas
- Perform basic cleaning tasks including vacuuming, dust mopping, damp mopping, low and high dusting, stocking supplies, removing trash and soiled linen, and delivering clean linen
- Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and adhere to guidelines when performing tasks
- Participate actively in safety initiatives and complete all required safety competencies on time
- Perform other duties as assigned
