Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in cleaning or housekeeping preferred
- Ability to work part time including evenings and some weekends
- Ability to use cleaning chemicals safely
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties
- Compliance with vaccine requirements including MMR, Varicella, Tdap, and Influenza
- Willingness to comply with drug free workplace policy
- Ability to follow safety procedures

- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation protocols
- Ability to work part time with rotating shifts

Job Duties
- Interact with patients, families, and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Clean patient rooms daily, including sanitizing all surfaces and cleaning restrooms
- Clean ancillary areas such as nurses stations, med rooms, pantries, utility rooms, storage rooms, waiting rooms, locker rooms, break rooms, and offices
- Clean specialty areas including OR Suites, Pre-Op and Post Op areas, Emergency Department, Intensive and Critical Care Units, Labor Delivery, Pediatric, Mental Health, Oncology, Radiology, Labs, Therapy areas, Pharmacy, Geriatrics, and Kitchen areas
- Perform basic cleaning tasks including dust mopping, damp mopping, vacuuming, high and low dusting, stocking supplies, removing trash and soiled linen, and delivering clean linen
- Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and follow safety guidelines
- Participate in safety initiatives and complete safety related competencies
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
