Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum four years of institutional housekeeping experience
- knowledge of OSHA safety standards
- valid PA driver’s license
- ability to communicate clearly in person
- physical ability to walk or stand 95 percent of the time
- successful completion of background check, physical exam, and drug screening
Job Qualifications
- high school graduate or GED
- knowledge of OSHA regulations for chemicals and materials used in housekeeping
- four years of previous institutional housekeeping experience
- effective communication skills
- ability to walk or stand for extended periods
- valid Pennsylvania driver's license
- completion of criminal background check, physical examination, and drug test
Job Duties
- clean and maintain assigned areas such as small buildings or office groups
- order and distribute cleaning supplies
- report maintenance and repair needs
- train new housekeeping employees
- wash, wax, dust, and polish floors
- operate housekeeping equipment including floor scrubbers, buffers, burnishers, carpet extractors
- move furniture and equipment
- deliver bulk supplies
- set up and prepare for banquets, special events and functions
