Job Requirements

  • Ability to follow oral instructions

  • Ability to follow work schedule which may vary with assignments
  • Experience in hospitality field, healthcare preferred
  • High school diploma or GED or related experience preferred
  • Good command of English language

Job Duties

  • Perform a variety of housekeeping duties to maintain hospital facilities in a neat, orderly and sanitary manner
  • Clean and move furniture and equipment
  • Use cleaning supplies according to established procedures
  • Use wet floor signs properly
  • Handle biohazard waste safely
  • Change out full linen bags
  • Respond to emergency situations related to patient or building safety
  • Follow company policies, procedures and directives
  • Prioritize workload efficiently
  • Interact in a positive and constructive manner
  • Be punctual and reliable
