Job Requirements
- Minimum two years of housekeeping experience
- High school graduate or GED preferred
- Ability to perform cleaning duties including dusting, mopping, vacuuming and floor maintenance
- Ability to work part time
- Ability to follow organizational policies and procedures
- Must be able to perform all professional, clinical, and technical competencies applicable to the role
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks
- Good communication skills
- Positive attitude and professional behavior at all times
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED preferred

- Ability to perform housekeeping duties in a hospital setting
- Strong attention to detail and reliability

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of safety and health regulations relevant to cleaning
- Capability to manage supplies and equipment effectively
Job Duties
- Cleans offices, patient rooms, common areas, lavatories, halls, food service areas and other areas as needed
- Cleans light fixtures, ceilings, vents, mattresses, furniture, window coverings, floors and carpets
- Cleans by dusting, mopping, vacuuming and sweeping
- Performs supply distribution
- Replenishes supplies
- Takes care of floors including stripping, waxing and shampooing
- Promotes effective teamwork
- Displays professional behavior and positive attitude at all times
- Adheres to organizational policies and procedures
- Effectively manages hospital resources such as time, supplies, and equipment
- Distributes clean linen and collects soiled linen
- Floor maintenance work including floor refinishing and carpet cleaning
- Serves as Lead Housekeeper as needed and performs any department task
- Performs professional, clinical, and technical competencies of the assigned unit or department
