Job Requirements

High school education or equivalency preferred
Prior housekeeping experience or training preferred
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Effective communication skills
Ability to follow safety protocols including OSHA guidelines
Physical ability to perform housekeeping duties
Willingness to work flexible hours including holidays and overtime

Job Qualifications

Prior housekeeping or home cleaning experience
Willingness and ability to be cross-trained in all housekeeping areas
Ability to carry out job responsibilities accurately and conscientiously
Capacity to exercise independent judgment and make sound decisions
Ability to work within established policies and procedures
Ability to work collaboratively to foster effective teamwork
Availability to work a flexible schedule including holidays and occasional overtime

Job Duties

Maintain overall cleanliness of campus buildings including mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, trash removal and general cleaning
Sanitize common areas, public and private bathrooms and resident living areas effectively
Maintain confidentiality regarding resident information
Provide excellent customer service to residents, staff, and family members
Communicate effectively with staff, residents, and family to ensure needs are met
Organize materials and manage time to ensure tasks are completed on time and in full
Use equipment, chemicals, and supplies according to OSHA, state, and facility guidelines responsibly
