Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
- ability to clean areas requiring technical cleaning including IR, Cardiac Cath, Mother-Baby, NICU, OR, ED
- ability to operate light floor cleaning equipment
- ability to lift and transport patients in emergency situations
- physical ability to reach, stand, squat, bend, carry, and lift supplies and equipment weighing 35 lbs or more for up to 80% of the time
- ability to climb ladders
- must wear protective equipment and clothing as required by environment or regulations
- valid Indiana driver’s license and proof of insurance
- no experience required

Job Duties
- Clean and sanitize patient units, office areas, clinics, treatment, and procedural areas
- remove refuse and soiled linens
- operate light floor cleaning equipment in patient care areas
- perform technical cleaning tasks in specialized units such as IR, Cardiac Cath, Mother-Baby, NICU, OR, and ED
- lift and transport patients in case of emergency
- wear protective equipment and clothing as required
- climb ladders for cleaning tasks
