Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- no prior housekeeping experience required
- ability to stand for long periods
- ability to bend, squat, and lift/carry 35 pounds regularly
- capacity to climb ladders and use floor-cleaning machines
- willingness to work evening shifts including rotating weekends and holidays
- must wear personal protective equipment at all times
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
- no previous experience required—training provided
- physical ability to stand for long periods, bend, squat, and lift/carry up to 35 lbs or more up to 80% of the time
- ability to climb ladders and operate floor-cleaning equipment
- ability to clean areas requiring technical cleaning including IR, Cardiac Cath, Mother-Baby, NICU, OR, ED
- must be able to wear protective equipment such as gowns, gloves, goggles, closed-toe shoes
Job Duties
- Clean and sanitize patient rooms, offices, clinics, and public spaces
- apply disinfection protocols in high-acuity clinical and procedural areas
- remove hazardous and biohazardous waste in compliance with safety regulations
- operate approved cleaning tools and light floor equipment
- communicate and collaborate with clinical teams to support patient care flow
