Job Requirements
- high school diploma, GED or equivalent experience preferred
- no previous experience required
- must be able to wear protective equipment and clothing required by environment or government regulations
- physical requirements including reaching, standing for long periods, squatting, bending, carrying and lifting supplies and equipment weighing 35 lbs or more up to 80% of the time
- ability to operate light floor cleaning equipment
- ability to climb ladders
- ability to clean technical and specialized clinical areas
Job Qualifications

- ability to wear protective equipment and clothing such as gowns, gloves, goggles, and rubber-soled closed-toe footwear
- physical ability to perform duties including reaching, standing for long periods, squatting, bending, carrying and lifting supplies and equipment weighing up to 35 lbs
- ability to operate cleaning machinery
- ability to climb ladders
- willingness to learn and follow infection control and hospital safety protocols
Job Duties
- clean and sanitize patient rooms, offices, clinics, clinical and procedural areas, and public spaces
- apply disinfection protocols and utilize approved cleaning tools
- conduct hazardous and biohazardous waste removal in compliance with safety regulations
- communicate and collaborate with clinical teams to support patient safety and care flow
- operate light floor cleaning equipment
- climb ladders to access high or difficult-to-reach areas
- perform technical cleaning in specialized areas such as IR, Cardiac Cath, Mother-Baby units, NICU, OR, and ED
