Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or related experience preferred
- Experience in the hospitality field, healthcare preferred
- Ability to follow oral instructions and understand simple written instructions
- Ability to follow work schedule which may vary with assignments
- Good command of the English language
- Ability to safely perform basic cleaning functions
- Ability to handle biohazard waste properly
- Ability to interact positively with others
- Ability to respond to emergency situations
- Ability to prioritize and multitask efficiently

Job Duties
- Perform a variety of housekeeping duties to maintain hospital facilities in a neat and sanitary manner
- Clean and move furniture and equipment according to procedures
- Use proper cleaning supplies and follow established safety protocols
- Handle biohazard waste and linen bags safely and efficiently
- Respond to emergency situations involving patient or building safety according to hospital policies
- Prioritize and complete assigned tasks efficiently
- Interact positively and constructively with staff and patients
